In 1844, Rev. Fr. Louis Savinien Dupuis MEP founded the congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Immaculate Heart of Mary, with an aim to serve the people of God following the message of our Lord Jesus Christ to spread the essence of love and humanity. In 1969, this beautiful place Charoda, had been blessed by the sisters of this congregation to render their services to promote moral & intellectual education as well as social, emotional and physical enlightenment. Jyoti as a family with ardent faith in God has covered a long journey of 55 years from 1969 to the present day. We are grateful to the Superior Generals and Regional Superiors of the FIH congregation who had supported for the growth of Jyoti to reach where we are today. This successful and wonderful journey is a result of the sincere efforts of all the managers, principals, sisters and we don’t forget the hardworking and devoted staff of this institution. Till the present day “22” batches of students from Chhattisgarh Board and “10” batches of Central Board have completed their senior secondary education from our school.
